Slip
A label bought through an EasyPost- or Shippo-style API fills this in itself. A label bought at the counter, you paste.
Then tell the channel
  • Website: the admin emails the buyer the tracking link itself. Automatic.
  • Amazon: confirm shipment in Seller Central with carrier + tracking, before the handling window closes. Manual until SP-API; the admin shows the reminder until you tick it.
  • Etsy: mark the order shipped on Etsy with the tracking number; Etsy emails the buyer. Manual until the API app is approved.

Packing slip

One page, no prices, the filaments named — buyers ask which colours they got. It prints from the order or from here, and the insert rule at the bottom changes with the channel: Amazon forbids anything that diverts the buyer, Etsy forbids a link off-platform, the website gets the how-it's-made card. Etsy
Listing carries a processing time; Etsy shows the buyer an estimated ship date from it. Mark shipped with tracking on Etsy.
