Channels

Three channels, one back office

Sales come from uniquedesigns.io, Amazon and Etsy. Each has its own ids, fees, shipping promise and rules about talking to the buyer. The admin consolidates them and is honest about which parts are wired and which are a file you download.

Web Connected — API

Orders in
Stripe webhook checkout.session.completed creates the order the moment the card clears. Today checkout is 22 Payment Links; the webhook works the same for those and for a hosted Checkout later.
Shipments out
The admin emails tracking to the buyer itself; Stripe has no shipment state to update.
Messages
You hold the buyer's email. Email them directly.
Fees
2.9% + $0.30 per card payment (Stripe's published standard US rate)
Pays out
Rolling; first payout ~7 days after the first charge, then on the schedule set in the Stripe dashboard (default 2 business days in the US)
To get there
Add a webhook endpoint on the Worker and a restricted key (Payment Links, Products, Prices, Refunds). The key that exists today is a full secret key that was pasted into a chat; it should be rolled first, as CLAUDE.md already says.

Amazon Manual import

Orders in
You download the unshipped-orders report from Seller Central and drop it here. Orders are matched by Amazon order id so re-importing is safe. SP-API later: the same rows arrive on a schedule.
Shipments out
Confirm shipment in Seller Central with carrier and tracking. The admin shows a reminder per order until it is ticked. SP-API later: one click here.
Messages
Buyer–Seller Messaging only. No email address is given, no marketing, no link to another store. Reply within 24 hours.
Fees
15% referral fee in Kitchen & Dining, plus $0.99/item on the Individual plan or $39.99/month Professional (needed for SP-API)
Pays out
Every 14 days, less a reserve held against returns
To get there
A Professional seller account ($39.99/month), then a developer profile and an SP-API app. Self-authorising your own store avoids the public app review, but the developer registration itself is reviewed by Amazon and has been known to take weeks. Kitchen & Dining does not need category approval; the brand may, if the team marks are challenged.

Etsy Manual CSV

Orders in
Download the orders CSV from Shop Manager and drop it here; matched by receipt id. API later: polled on a schedule.
Shipments out
Mark shipped on Etsy with tracking; Etsy emails the buyer. Reminder shown here until ticked. API later: one click here.
Messages
Etsy Messages only. Keep the conversation on Etsy; taking it off-platform breaks their terms.
Fees
$0.20 listing, 6.5% transaction on item + shipping, 3% + $0.25 payment processing (US)
Pays out
Daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly — chosen in Etsy's payment settings
To get there
Request an API key at developers.etsy.com. Personal access for your own shop is usually granted in days; commercial access is reviewed. Etsy also enforces its own handmade rules — printed to order, designed by you, qualifies.

Import orders Amazon and Etsy, until their APIs are approved

What happens. Rows are matched by the channel's order id. New ids become orders in New; known ids are updated, never duplicated; buyer names and addresses are taken as given and the item is matched to a cork by the listing's SKU. A row whose SKU is unknown is shown, not guessed.

Listings one cork, up to three

… and 16 more, all the same today. Products has the full matrix.

A listing carries the channel's id, a price override and the channel's own handling or processing time. Everything else about the cork comes from the product. Listing on Amazon and Etsy is done on their sites at first; the admin records the ids. Creating listings through the APIs is a later step and not a small one — Amazon's listing feed is the most awkward API it has.

Settings the channels need

Shown on the product page and used as the website's ship-by date. Pick one; unstated is the worst option.

The licensing question comes first

Every mark in the catalogue is a registered trademark licensed through the Collegiate Licensing Company, and marketplaces enforce against unlicensed collegiate goods harder than a private storefront ever meets. Amazon's brand-registry takedowns and Etsy's IP reports are the mechanism. CLAUDE.md says this is unsettled; listing on either marketplace makes it urgent rather than eventual.
